Quartz glass

The main component of Quartz glass is SIO2, the refractive index is 1.4585, and the expansion coefficient is about 5.5x10K. It has good transmittance from ultraviolet, visible and infrared wavelengths, and can withstand high temperatures of 1100 degrees Celsius.
